White Eagle Transit mission is to provide safe & reliable transportation at a reasonable cost to all residents & visitors of the Ponca Tribe, Community & Ponca City area.

Rates within city limits:
Ponca City - (within city limits)
$2.00 for one-way riders
$1.00 for any additional stops
$1.75 per 15 minutes - $7.00max. Per hour for any wait-time
FREE Fare:
Children Under 5 yrs.
(Must be accompanied by adults all-times. Must have your own car seats or we can’t transport.)
Rates - Outside city limits:
Blackwell, Kaw City, Red Rock, Marland, Newkirk, Perry and Tonkawa
$5.00 One-Way Trip
Outside City Limits: (Medical Appt.) OKC, Tulsa, Enid, Stillwater, Etc.
Return wait time will be charged min $1.75 per. 15 Mins. Up to Max. $7.00 per hour
$10.00 One-Way Trip, and/or per hour + Toll Fares round-trip
- Pre-paid passes can be purchased
To schedule a ride:
Passengers must call for reservations a minimum of 24 hours prior to requested time. Call the dispatcher at 580-763-0139 between 8am and 3pm, Monday-Friday. Inform dispatcher if you use a mobility device or travel with an escort. Those needing an escort can have one accompany them at no extra cost. All rides are scheduled on a first call basis, subject to availability. Other destinations will be considered. Actual pickup times will be adjusted according to systems needs. The goal of the system is to honor passenger’s requests in a timely and cost effective manner.

*When snow and ice make road conditions dangerous, White Eagle Transit service could be affected. Safety considerations may prevent or delay service. Should the local school system close due to inclement weather, White Eagle Transit will also be closed.
Child Safety:
All Children shall be transported in an age/weight appropriate child safety seat, as required by law. It is the responsibility of the agency, or the child’s parents or guardians, caretaker, or other responsible adult to provide such a child safety seat. WETS does not provide child safety seats. Small children who do not have a child safety seat will be refused transportation until individual provides one. All Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
Service Window:
A 15 minute “service window” is allowed for passenger trips. This means that a system vehicle may pick up a passenger 15 minutes before or after scheduled pickup time. Passengers should wait at a main entrance or curbside if they are physically or mentally capable and if weather permits. Drivers are not to wait longer than five (5) minutes for any passenger. The rider can call to reschedule a ride at the next opening.
Curb to Curb Service:
White Eagle Transit will transport only from curb to curb. Vehicle drivers are not allowed to leave their vehicle to assist passengers to and from buildings. Passengers who need assistance beyond boarding and exiting from the vehicle should be accompanied by a companion to assist at no additional charge. Passengers using mobility devices may travel with a personal care assistant at no additional cost. Drivers are not responsible for loading/unloading and carrying groceries/packages to the door. Drivers are not to enter any home.
Cancelations:
Riders are expected to cancel a ride, if the ride is no longer needed. It is acceptable to cancel at least 30 minutes prior to driver arrival, either per phone call or leaving a message.
Payment:
Passengers must have correct change, drivers are not required to give change. (10) ride passes are readily available. If a stop is made for a rider to obtain change, the rider will be charged for the stop.
Ride Changes:
All passengers must schedule rides and changes through the DISPATCHER. Changes will not be accepted through the driver.
No Shows:
If Riders have three (3) no-show’s or three (3) same day cancellations, in a 30 day period, the rider will be on a (30) days suspension. When a rider repeats second suspension (60) days, third suspension (90) days suspension and/or the result will be a permanent loss or riding privileges. Before returning back to White Eagle Transit, you will pay for your no shows/missed trips.
To ensure customers have a safe and enjoyable ride, the driver will enforce the rules outlined here:
Passengers' right to transportation can be terminated due to misconduct of the passenger. Disruptive or abusive behavior on the telephone, while scheduling transportation, in any way that interferes with the driver to safely transport other passengers will result in the removal or expulsion of the individual or individuals of White Eagle Transit.
White Eagle Transit reserves the right to immediately refuse to transport passengers and permanently suspend ridership for violations of these rules.

- Only passengers listed on the White Eagle Transit (WETS) schedule are allowed in vehicles.
- No unscheduled stops will be made.
- Drivers will not leave the vehicle to locate passengers.
- No profanity or vulgar language is allowed while on board a transportation vehicle.
- No fighting, throwing of any objects, pushing, rough or loud behavior.
- No weapons (knives, firearms, fireworks, etc.) will be permitted on a system vehicle.
- No non-prescription drugs or alcohol permitted on board.
- Passengers are not permitted to eat, drink, or smoke in vehicles.
- No hazardous chemicals, materials, or batteries of any kind are permitted on board.
- All passengers must wear seat belts to insure the safety of all individuals in the vehicle.
- Passengers will be denied transportation services if they choose not to abide by the seat belt policy.
- Parents/guardians are required to belt in each child appropriately. All children shall be secured in a proper child safety seat. The parents will be expected to sit nearby all children.
- Parents/guardians are not to leave children unattended in the vehicle.
- Riders will not be permitted to leave packages on the vehicle when making multiple stops.
- Riders can board with what they can carry on the vehicle and securely place at their feet or below the seat not interfering with other passengers.
- No screaming, loud talking, singing, or playing of loud music, or anything that will distract the driver.
- Pets must be stored in a pet carrier.
- No inappropriate display of affection or sexual activity.
- No release of human waste, including spitting, on the vehicle.
- All passengers must exercise personal hygiene.
- All passengers must wear shoes and shirts.
- If a rider is going to a medical appointment where anesthesia will be given, the rider must have a person over the age of 18 go with them for assistance.
- The driver will reserve the right to refuse to transport any passenger who appears to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs or suspicious activity.
- If WETS suspects the destination of a passenger is for the purpose of illegal or questionable purposes, we reserve the right to refuse to transport.
- WETS reserves the right to refuse transportation to any person(s) under the influence of intoxicating beverages or drugs or who is unable to take care of themselves or any person whose conduct or condition is such or likely to be such as to make them objectionable to other passengers.
White Eagle Transit reserves the right to immediately refuse to transport passengers and permanently suspend ridership for violations of these rules.
