LOW INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE (LIHEAP)
The Family service department offers Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), we manage the Individual Indians Money accounts and have Adult Protective services.
LIHEAP PROGRAM
NOW ACCEPTING SUMMER LIHEAP APPLICATIONS
LIHEAP is funded through the Division of Energy Assistance and is managed by The Ponca Tribal Family Services Department. The Ponca Tribal Family Services Department provides services to eligible tribal families that meet the criteria and live in the service area of Kay, Noble, and Grant counties in Oklahoma. LIHEAP assists with Heating, Cooling, and Crisis Assistance. Heating Assistance begins in November and ends March 31st and Cooling Assistance begins in June and ends August 31st. Crisis Assistance is year-round and is for clients with cutoff notices for electric or gas bills.
