Ponca Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma
MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT-PRESCRIPTION DRUG AND OPIOID ADDICTION PROGRAM (MAT-PDOA)
The Ponca Tribe’s Medication Assisted Treatment-Prescription Drug and Opioid Addiction Program (MAT-PDOA) is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. This program provides opportunities for American Indian and Alaskan Native adults experiencing addiction to substances such as Oxycodone, heroin, fentanyl, and other opioids to receive safe and effective treatment. The MAT-PDOA program offers evidenced-based treatment including medication-assisted treatment using FDA-approved Suboxone, behavioral therapy, case management, and recovery support. The goal of this program is to reduce rates of opioid abuse and overdose in the community and to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
